Document Manager

Use this article to learn how to set up and manage the document manager from the dashboard.

You can upload and manage documents from the Titan GPS Dashboard.

How to set up and manage the Document Manager


Set Up a Directory

  1. Select FieldDocs from the app bar.

  2. Click Document Manager.

  3. In the Document Manager you can:

    1. Edit Directories.

    2. Delete Directories.

    3. Add Folders.

    4. Edit Folders.

    5. Remove Folders.

    6. Add Subfolders.

    7. Edit Subfolders.

    8. Remove Subfolders.

  4. Add a Folder.

  5. Name the Folder.

  6. Click the checkmark icon to Save.

  7. Right click on the Folder.

  8. Select add a Subfolder.

  9. Name the Subfolder.

  10. Select the checkmark icon to save.

  11. To add another layer of Subfolders:

    1. Right Click on the Subfolder.

    2. Select add a Subfolder.

    3. Name the Subfolder.

    4. Select the checkmark icon to save.

    Note: You can only create 2 layers of Subfolders. Also, if you delete a folder that contains documents, those documents will also be removed from the document manager.


Upload Documents

  1. In Document Manager you can:

    1. Add Documents.

    2. Delete Documents.

    3. Download Documents.

  2. To start uploading documents select a Folder or Subfolder.

  3. Click Add Document.

  4. Select Browse.

  5. Select the files you would like to upload.

  6. Click Open.

  7. Select Upload All.

  8. Click Done.


Manage Document Permissions by User Role

  1. Select FieldDocs from the application bar.

  2. Click FieldDocs Settings.

  3. Navigate to Document Manager Permissions.

  4. Click the edit pencil to select the Allowed Digital Form Templates for each User Role.

  5. Click Save.

    Note: You will need to ensure that each User or Driver on your account has the correct user role configured to see the digital form in the FieldDocs App.


Manage Document Manager User Role and User Permissions

  1. Hover your mouse over Lists from the app bar.

  2. Select Users.

  3. Select a User.

  4. Tap the list icon in User Information.

  5. Select Edit this User.

  6. In the Edit a User window set the User Role.

  7. In Permissions scroll to Operations.

  8. Use the checkboxes to set the permissions. The following Document Manager permissions are available:

    1. View Documents- allows a user to view documents.

    2. Edit Documents - allows a user to edit documents.

  9. Select Save.


Manage Document Manager User Role and Driver Permissions

  1. Hover your mouse over Lists from the app bar.

  2. Select Drivers.

  3. Select a Drivers.

  4. Tap the list icon in Driver Information.

  5. Select Edit Driver.

  6. In the Edit Driver window go to User Configuration.

  7. In User Information set the User Role.

  8. In Permissions scroll to Operations.

  9. Use the checkboxes to set the permissions. The following Document Manager permissions are available:

    1. View Documents- allows a user to view documents.

    2. Edit Documents - allows a user to edit documents.

  10. Select Save.
