Managing Users

Use this article to learn how to create and edit users from the dashboard.

You can create users directly from the Titan GPS Dashboard

Note: You can only create one user at a time.

Create a User

  1. Hover your mouse over Lists from the app bar.

  2. Select Users.

  3. Hover your mouse over the list icon beside the search bar.

  4. Select Add New User.

In User Information, you can:

  • Enter the Full name

  • Enter the Email address

  • Enter the User name

  • Select a Group

  • Select a User role

    Optional Sub-User Information:

  • Sub User ID

  • Note

  • Street

  • City

  • State/Province

  • Country

  • Zip/Postal Code

    Note: Option Sub-User information is not required and is used for informational purposes. The Sub-User ID can't be used to sign in.

You can also select the Devices this user can view, the Landmarks this user can view and set their Permissions.

5. Click Save.


User Activation

  1. An email will be sent asking the user to activate their account.

  2. The new user should find the email and tap Activate User.

  3. The user will be brought to the Titan GPS activation page and will be prompted to enter a Password and to Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

  4. When completed, select Set Password.

  5. The user will be returned to the Titan GPS login page where they can enter their User Name and Password to log into Titan GPS, Titan GPS Fleet App, or Titan GPS FieldDocs App depending on their permissions.


Edit a User

  1. Hover your mouse over Lists from the app bar.

  2. Select Users.

  3. Select a User.

  4. Tap the list icon in User Information.

  5. Select Edit this User.

  6. You can change a user's:

    1. User Information

    2. Device Access

    3. Landmark Access

    4. Permissions

  7. Click Save.
