How to set up the KPI Dashboard

  1. Select Dashboard from the App Bar.

  2. In the KPI Dashboard, you can:

    1. View current KPI Cards.

    2. Edit KPI Cards.

    3. Delete KPI Cards.

    4. Create New KPI Cards.

  3. To create a new KPI Card, you can either:

    1. Drag and drop a KPI from the sidebar to the dashboard or;

    2. Select the Or Click Here button from the KPI card.

  4. Select a KPI from the drop-down.

  5. Choose a card type.
    You can choose either:

    1. Total - Shows a single numerical value for the metric by the Time Range and assets selected.

    2. Ranking - Shows a bar graph with a ranking by Top 10 or Bottom 10 for the metric by individual assets or groups for the Time Range selected.

    3. Trending - Shows a bar graph that shows the metric by asset or group over the Time Range selected.

  6. Click Save.


KPI Metrics

Below is a description of each KPI metric you can use in the KPI dashboard.

KPI Metric

Description

Average Distance per Travel Segment

The average distance an asset travels between a start and stop event.

Average Idle Time

The average time that an asset's ignition is on but no motion is detected.

Average Stop Time

The average time that an asset has stopped and no motion is detected.

Average Travel Time per Travel Segment

The average time an asset was moving between a start and stop event.

Distance Traveled

The total distance traveled.

Engine Time

The total time the asset's engine is on.

Idle Time

The total time the ignition is on but no motion is detected.

Max Idle Time

The maximum amount of time an asset's ignition was on but no motion was detected.

Number of Stops

The total number of stops.

Number of Stops with Idle

The total number of stops that included time that the ignition is on and no motion is detected.

Number of Travel Segments

The total number of times an asset travels between a start and stop event.

Stop Time

The total time that an asset has stopped and no motion is detected.

Travel Time

The total time an asset was in motion between an asset's start and stop event.

Aggressive Cornering

The number of aggressive right or left turns that were detected.

Excessive Acceleration

The number of excessive acceleration events that were detected.

Excessive Deceleration

The number of excessive deceleration events that were detected.

Excessive Idle

The number of excessive idling events that were detected.

Harsh Driving

The number of excessive acceleration and deceleration events that were detected.

Max Speed

The maximum speed an asset reached.

Over-Speed

The number of overspeed events that were detected.

Battery Disconnected

The number of battery disconnect events that were detected.

Low Battery

The number of low battery events that were detected.
