Updated today

Titan GPS FieldDocs is a mobile application designed for drivers and field users to record trips and driving activity using GPS and ELD data. It supports compliance and operational tracking by securely capturing driving events while the vehicle is in use.

Download the Application

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store.

  2. Search for "Titan GPS FieldDocs".

  3. Tap Install.

Requires Android 6.0 and up

iOS

  1. Open the App Store.

  2. Search for "Titan GPS FieldDocs".

  3. Tap Install (or Get).

Requires IOS 13.0 or Higher

If you've used the app before, logging in is straightforward:

  1. Enter your username.

  2. Enter your password.

  3. Tap Login.

If you need help resetting your password, please click this link for instructions: Resetting your password.

First-Time Setup

If this is your first time installing the app, follow the steps below after it finishes downloading:

  1. Select While using this app when asked for access to the device's location.

  2. Select Allow when asked if the app can send you notifications.

    1. The notifications below will be active when FieldDocs is in use.

  3. Check "I Accept the Privacy Policy", then tap Accept.

  4. For Samsung Devices Only: Enable unrestricted battery usage by selecting "Keep Tracking Running."

    1. If you need to enable after initial setup, tap Go to Settings and search "Titan FieldDocs."

    2. Tap Unrestricted.

    3. Tap the back arrow to return to the login screen.

Note on why "keep Tracking Running" needs to be turned on: The Titan FieldDocs app needs to keep running in the background while you’re logged in, even if the phone screen is off or you switch to another app.

Setting the app’s battery use to Unrestricted allows it to:

✅ Stay logged in during your shift

✅ Capture and sync data without interruption

✅ Send and receive updates in real time

✅ Prevent missed records or delays caused by the system pausing the app

If the app is set to Optimized or Restricted, your phone may automatically pause or shut it down to save battery. When that happens, the app can stop working correctly, data may not upload, sessions can log out, and required background processes may fail.

  5. Enter your username and password.

  6. Tap Login.

  7. When prompted, allow all permissions:

    • Tap Allow for GPS permission.

    • Tap Allow for physical activity access.

    • Tap Allow all the time for background device location access.

  8. Allow the app to sync completely.

Note: You must allow permissions for the FieldDocs app to find, connect to, and determine the relative position of nearby devices. This will allow your devices to sync with your phone to improve vehicle and equipment location data. Make sure the Location Permissions are set to “Allow all the time” within the app’s settings.
