We're excited to introduce two enhancements built to give fleet admins more control over camera behavior and event review: expanded configuration options for the AIR II camera and Adaptive Overlay, a new customization tool for reviewing footage. Both are now available on the Titan GPS platform.
🚀 What's Launching
🎥 AIR II Camera Settings
Fleet admins can configure AIR II dual-facing dashcams directly from the Camera Settings tab on each device's camera page:
Record Feed — choose which streams (Audio, Road Facing, Driver Facing) are captured
Blur Faces — apply privacy blurring to None, Driver, Passenger, or All faces in-cab
Road Facing Alerts — toggle Forward Collision Warning, Close Following, Lane Departure, Stop Sign, and Pedestrian Collision Warning individually (road-facing detection itself stays active)
Driver Facing Alerts — toggle Drowsiness/Fatigue, Cell Phone Use, Distracted Driving, and Seatbelt alerts as a group or individually
Changes are saved via the Save changes button and delivered to the device, taking effect on the vehicle's next ignition cycle.
🎛️ Adaptive Overlay
When reviewing an event, click the new settings (gear) icon in the video player toolbar to open Adaptive Overlay and customize what displays on top of Road View footage:
Overlay Opacity — adjust overlay solidity from 0–100%
Object Types — show or hide overlays for Vehicles, Lane Line, Pedestrians, and Stop Signs
Lane Line Options — toggle LDW Margins (distance markers) when Lane Line is on
Video Stream Info — show or hide burned-in device ID, date/time, GPS, and speed data
Display Mode — switch to an alternate overlay layout
✅ Benefits
Tailored camera configuration — dial in exactly what each AIR II records and detects to match your company's privacy policy and the needs of specific routes or vehicle types
Less alert fatigue — turn off individual alerts (like Forward Collision Warning) instead of disabling an entire camera feed
Faster, clearer event review — declutter footage with fewer overlays, or add detail like lane lines and pedestrians when digging into an incident
Stronger driver privacy — configurable face-blurring options help keep your fleet aligned with in-cab privacy expectations
