Optional starter kill relay: Relay pins 87A (Red), 30 (Blue), 85 (Black), and 86 (White). The Red and Blue relay wires connect to either side of the cut vehicle start interrupt wire.

Vehicle Start Interrupt Wire

When this wire is cut, the vehicle cannot be started with the key. Due to data bus systems on newer vehicles, this wire may not be located at the ignition switch.

When cutting a wire, test that the vehicle cannot be started with the key, and that when reconnected, the vehicle starts without displaying fault codes.

❗ Important: Do not cut the wire that shuts down the vehicle while it is running with the key.

Type 3: TT6000v24 with Driver ID

  1. Connect the Red wire to a constant +12–24V source and fuse.

  2. Connect the Black wire to ground.

  3. Connect the White wire to a true ignition (+) source.

  4. Mount the Driver ID panel-mount scanner.
